The Swiss Army Knife "Steak Knife to go" is beautifully designed, simple and elegant. The Swiss Army Knife can be opened as easily as a feather: this is made possible by the worldwide unique slide bearing in high-tech ceramic.
As a "steak knife to go", the Swiss Army Knife is made of surgical steel. This steel of the Swiss Army Knife with hardness 59 HRC has a four times higher corrosion resistance. The handle is made of stabilized Swiss walnut wood. As with all sknife knives, the finishing is done in the knife manufactory sknife in Biel.
Care instructions for sknife knives:
Clean directly after use with a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid in warm water. Then dry carefully.
The purchase and carrying of the Swiss Army Knife is legally permitted in Switzerland, as it does not fall under the Swiss Weapons Act (WG) (according to the official confirmation of the Federal Office of Police fedpol dated 5.6.19).
In the high-tech steel originally developed for aircraft construction, some of the carbon was replaced by nitrogen. This makes the blades extra hard (58 HRC *, instead of often only 52-56 HRC), edge-holding and up to 4 times more rust-resistant than many common carbon steels. Rough and fine sanding as well as fine deduction are carried out by a master hand: the guarantee for special sharpness and precision.
