The leaves of the moringa, also known as the miracle tree, are bright green and soft in flavour. Combined with pineapple, they create a special flavour - mild and aromatic like a tropical cocktail.

Moringa Oleifera has many names: Miracle tree, tree of life, horseradish tree (because its roots smell like horseradish) and even "drumstick tree", this because of its drooping bean fruits, which look like drumsticks.

Originally from the Himalayan region of north-west India, the Moringa tree is now cultivated in over 80 countries. The tree has been used in India for around 5000 years and is part of Ayurvedic medicine. According to Indian folklore, moringa can cure more than 300 diseases.

Moringa leaves taste very rich and pieces of apple and pineapple give this complex tea blend its pleasant fruity flavour, while ginger adds a little spice.

A fruit and herbal tea blend should be brewed at a water temperature of 95-98°C (leave the water to stand briefly in the kettle after boiling and wait until it stops boiling).
