The wine has a strong cherry colour. The intense aromas of dark, ripe fruit, a little chocolate, some vanilla and balsamic vinegar can be detected on the nose. On the palate, it impresses with a powerful structure, balance with a long finish and elegant, soft tannins. Only the best grapes were selected for this special wine. The selection took place in the vineyard and also in the cellar before processing. In order to get as much fruit flavour as possible into the wine, cold maceration was carried out at 8° C for 5 days. Alcoholic fermentation took place at 26°C with the wine's own yeast. The subsequent malolactic fermentation in the barrel gives the wine its suppleness and excellent concentration. The wine was then matured in French, Hungarian and American barriques, giving it a unique flavour by combining these three types of wooden barrel.
